Bruce's turbine powered PST Reaction ARF is designed to be an entry-level turbine model, so it has a lot of wing area and a nice, thick airfoil. Wingspan is 78". It weighs in at 28 lbs wet, has an all composite airframe and pneumatic retracts and brakes. The turbine is a JetCat P70 made in Germany that puts out about 17 lbs of thrust. At max power, the turbine spins at 153,000 rpm. Bruce estimates the top speed to be in the 120-130 mph ballpark, but says it flies nicely at reduced throttle, probably in the 90-100 mph range.
