How do I join the Rogue Eagles R/C Club?

1. First you'll need your AMA insurance, anyone that wants to fly at Agate Skyways must have it. For information about the AMA click here. To apply for AMA insurance online click here.
2. Print out this Membership Application Form and fill it out.
3. Write a check made out to ROGUE EAGLES for the membership dues. You may also pay your club dues with cash.
4. Make sure you have your AMA card. If haven't received you AMA card in the mail yet call AMA and get your AMA number. No AMA number...no flying at Agate Skyways.
5. Load up your plane(s) and head out to Agate Skyways. Once there let someone know that you want to join and ask them to direct you to a club officer. The club officer will gladly accept your membership application, verify your AMA insurance card and collect you membership dues. He will quickly go over the safety rules, let you know the gate combination and answer any questions that you may have. That's it...your now a Rogue Eagle welcome aboard...now you're ready to FLY!!!
6. You may also join at one of our monthly general meetings. We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at a new site. (Will anounce when we find out where) You may also mail in the application, a copy of your AMA card and a check made out to ROGUE EAGLES for the membership dues to the address on the Membership Application Form.
   

How much does it cost to join?

1. Typically the AMA insurance is $58 per year and the club dues are $50 per year for a standard membership, and $20 an associate (non-flying) membership. There is also a one-time processing fee of $25. So, the total for a first time member would be $58 + $50 +$25 = $128.
